2004-02-09mondays are busy days catching up with the patches from the weekend! ;-)Daniel Stenberg

2004-02-09recent updatesDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-09Modified the default HTTP Accept: header to only be Accept: */*Daniel Stenberg
2004-02-09Removed, this was only used to work out what went wrong with test 91, andDaniel Stenberg
we seem to have nailed that one now!
2004-02-09Oops. I broke the flow with the previous commit.Daniel Stenberg
2004-02-09P R Schaffner updated this to work for 7.11.0Daniel Stenberg
2004-02-09Dominick Meglio's added share interface documentationDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-09removed the state file renaming I accidentally left thereDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-09some annoying compilers warn about "(void)foo;" lines so we avoid themDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-09Make param2text() take an int argument, as that is what's being passed in.Daniel Stenberg
This is made to prevent compiler warnings.
2004-02-09use VAR_NONE instead of 0 in the table to prevent compiler warningDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-09return 'res' to better discover test failures and to stop compiler warningsDaniel Stenberg
about it never being used
2004-02-09Uninitialized variable set.Daniel Stenberg
2004-02-09Tor Arntsen's patch for working around a notorious bug in the AIX5Daniel Stenberg
getaddrinfo() implementation.
2004-02-09Ken Rastatter's fixes to improve portability of this example:Daniel Stenberg
These minor changes remove portability issues with the this example and allow it to run on Win32. Specifically: * The use of pthread_create() has been replaced by g_thread_create(). This removes the dependency on the pthreads library. Since this is an example using GTK+, g_thread_create() is available as it is a part of glibc. * The CURLOPT_FILE option is now referred to by its "newer name" CURLOPT_WRITEDATA. * The use of CURLOPT_WRITEFUNCTION has been added. As described in the docs, this avoids the crashes when using a DLL under Win32. * The output file has been renamed from "/tmp/test.curl" to "test.curl". It's unlikely that there is a /tmp when in Win32 and other examples in libcurl write their output files to the working directory.
2004-02-06mingw configure fix, host: fix, compiler warnings in ldap.cDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-06updated with recent fixesDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-06The Curl_strtoll() issueDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-06updatedDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-06Rewrote the gethostbyname() check after Andrés García's provided patchDaniel Stenberg
for finding it using mingw on windows. I also made the script skip the search for gethostbyname_r and gethostbyaddr_r when ipv6 is enabled.
2004-02-06Added documentation of a few command line options that were still undocumentedDaniel Stenberg
here.
2004-02-06A custom Host: header is only considered if the request is not made byDaniel Stenberg
following a location. After discussions with Tim Baker.
2004-02-06The MIPSPro compiler complains on constructs such as "(void)foo;" soDaniel Stenberg
we avoid it where possible.
2004-02-06Make sure DynaGetFunction() returns a function pointer, not a data pointer.Daniel Stenberg
The standards don't actually allow typecasts between data and functions so some picky compilers warn about this.
2004-02-06Remove the attempt to detect if we already tested the same source setup.Daniel Stenberg
We really don't care, and so many other things could've changed to make the new test interesting anyway.
2004-02-05numerous things went in todayDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-05added the missing stdin sectionDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-05An attempt to only set both libz-related defines at the same time. We needDaniel Stenberg
both the lib and the header present for both defines to be set. If only one of the files is found, we issue a warning and set no define.
2004-02-05Andrés García's updatesDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-05if an empty 'transfer-encoding:' header is provided, we switch off theDaniel Stenberg
chunky coding of uploads
2004-02-05Made a test that sends data on stdin to PUT, with a given length andDaniel Stenberg
chunked transfer-encoding disabled. Fixed to work after Len Krause's bug report.
2004-02-05Gisle Vanem fixed a windows compiler warningDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-05changed the test() function to return type intDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-05include process.h to get the _getpid() protoDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-05when using --enable-debug and gcc, provide the -Wno-format-nonliteral optionDaniel Stenberg
to prevent the warning in mprintf.c: (currently line 930) "format not a string literal, argument types not checked"
2004-02-05options we get as longs need to be typecasted when assigned to preventDaniel Stenberg
picky compiler warnings
2004-02-05fix return type to silence compiler warningsDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-05prevent warning from that picky MIPSpro compilerDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-05compiler warning fix, compare struct pointers of the same typeDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-05use the timeout options when waiting for the server to connect when usingDaniel Stenberg
PORT Provide better error messages to allow debugging if one if the ipv6-related name functions fail in the ftp_use_port() function. This might help us diagnose the problems on AIX. Also make sure getaddrinfo() uses NULL and not "0" for the service argument.
2004-02-05hide the pack_hostent proto if ipv6 is enabled, as figured out by Tor ArntsenDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-05Fix the socklen_t type too. Needed only when built with memory debuggingDaniel Stenberg
as then we include the memdebug.h header from the lib dir, and it then requires this type... (fails on IRIX 6.5 without this)
2004-02-04fixed "comparison between signed and unsigned" complaintsDaniel Stenberg
2004-02-04don't use 'sin' as variable name as the picky compiler warnings complainDaniel Stenberg
about it shadowing the function sin()

2004-02-04prevent a compiler warning about a macro definitionDaniel Stenberg
