2008-11-13 | two more things for 7.19.3 | Daniel Stenberg
2008-11-11 | bump them all to 7.19.3 and remove some of the pending ones until they are | Daniel Stenberg
either sorted out or more/new details come up
2008-11-05 | 7.19.1 is now history | Daniel Stenberg
2008-11-04 | the pending bugs are now moved to next release | Daniel Stenberg
2008-11-01 | 183 - "libcurl issue with IPv6 and c-ares" | Daniel Stenberg
done! | |||
2008-10-31 | Cleaned up in preparation for release next week. I'd say the remaining bugs | Daniel Stenberg
risk getting postponed for 7.19.2.
2008-10-22 | removed four issues that had no action at all for the last four weeks or more | Daniel Stenberg
2008-10-21 | Fixed some problems with SFTP range support to fix test cases 634 through 637. | Dan Fandrich
2008-10-20 | All the coverity.com issues have no been taken care of. | Daniel Stenberg
2008-10-17 | 185 - CURLOPT_PROXYUSER etc | Daniel Stenberg
done! | |||
2008-10-15 | - Pascal Terjan filed bug #2154627 | Daniel Stenberg
(http://curl.haxx.se/bug/view.cgi?id=2154627) which pointed out that libcurl uses strcasecmp() in multiple places where it causes failures when the Turkish locale is used. This is because 'i' and 'I' isn't the same letter so strcasecmp() on those letters are different in Turkish than in English (or just about all other languages). I thus introduced a totally new internal function in libcurl (called Curl_ascii_equal) for doing case insentive comparisons for english-(ascii?) style strings that thus will make "file" and "FILE" match even if the Turkish locale is selected.
2008-10-14 | Failing SFTP range tests cases 634 through 637 | Dan Fandrich
2008-10-14 | four additional pending issues | Daniel Stenberg
2008-10-08 | - Bug #2152270 (http://curl.haxx.se/bug/view.cgi?id=2152270) identified and | Daniel Stenberg
fixed a CURLINFO_REDIRECT_URL memory leak and an additional wrong-doing: Any subsequent transfer with a redirect leaks memory, eventually crashing the process potentially. Any subsequent transfer WITHOUT a redirect causes the most recent redirect that DID occur on some previous transfer to still be reported.
2008-10-08 | 179 - "[PATCH] Colon in username" | Daniel Stenberg
was committed just now!
2008-10-07 | mention the other sf.net bug which does have a sort of fix mentioned | Daniel Stenberg
2008-10-07 | some additional classification of the entries | Daniel Stenberg
2008-10-07 | One fix for CURLINFO_PRIMARY_IP just went in which addressed at least one of | Daniel Stenberg
the concerns mentioned for 174 and the other guy hasn't returned so I remove the entry from here now.
2008-09-29 | 177 - "[Patch] Disable proxy support" was applied | Daniel Stenberg
2008-09-29 | - Ian Lynagh provided a patch that now makes CURLOPT_RANGE work fine for SFTP | Daniel Stenberg
downloads! | |||
2008-09-29 | 175 - "No info on REDIRECT_URL in multi-mode" by Max Ivanov is fixed! | Daniel Stenberg
2008-09-29 | three more patches in the pipe | Daniel Stenberg
2008-09-26 | more | Daniel Stenberg
2008-09-23 | 172 was applied, 173 is now being discussed | Daniel Stenberg
2008-09-23 | issue #171 is now in CVS | Daniel Stenberg
2008-09-22 | - Made the SOCKS code use the new Curl_read_plain() function to fix the bug | Daniel Stenberg
Markus Moeller reported: http://curl.haxx.se/mail/archive-2008-09/0016.html - recv() errors other than those equal to EAGAIN now cause proper CURLE_RECV_ERROR to get returned. This made test case 160 fail so I've now disabled it until we can figure out another way to exercise that logic.
2008-09-22 | removed issue #162 as mentioned on the mailing list ↵ | Daniel Stenberg
http://curl.haxx.se/mail/archive-2008-09/0086.html
2008-09-21 | #175 has a patch | Daniel Stenberg
2008-09-21 | three new topics to check out | Daniel Stenberg
2008-09-10 | #170 is done | Dan Fandrich
2008-09-08 | Removed: 166 167 | Daniel Stenberg
Added : 172 | |||
2008-09-08 | 171 - [PATCH] add some locking for thread-safety to NSS implementation | Daniel Stenberg
2008-09-05 | Improved the logic the decides whether to use HTTP 1.1 features or not in a | Dan Fandrich
request. Detect cases where an upload must be sent chunked and the server supports only HTTP 1.0 and return CURLE_UPLOAD_FAILED.
2008-09-05 | Removed after commit: | Daniel Stenberg
158 - Martin Drasar's CURLOPT_POSTREDIR work: http://curl.haxx.se/mail/lib-2008-08/0170.html
2008-09-05 | - Introducing CURLOPT_CERTINFO and the corresponding CURLINFO_CERTINFO. By | Daniel Stenberg
enabling this feature with CURLOPT_CERTINFO for a request using SSL (HTTPS or FTPS), libcurl will gather lots of server certificate info and that info can then get extracted by a client after the request has completed with curl_easy_getinfo()'s CURLINFO_CERTINFO option. Linus Nielsen Feltzing helped me test and smoothen out this feature. Unfortunately, this feature currently only works with libcurl built to use OpenSSL. This feature was sponsored by networking4all.com - thanks!
2008-09-05 | five new recent issues to deal with | Daniel Stenberg
2008-09-01 | remove 7.19.0 and hint that 7.19.1 might not come until november | Daniel Stenberg
2008-08-30 | Added: | Daniel Stenberg
165 - "Problem with CURLOPT_RESUME_FROM and CURLOPT_APPEND" by Daniele Pinau, recipe: http://curl.haxx.se/mail/lib-2008-08/0439.html
2008-08-29 | Removed one, added two | Dan Fandrich
2008-08-29 | - When libcurl was doing a HTTP POST and the server would respond with | Daniel Stenberg
"Connection: close" and actually close the connection after the response-body, libcurl could still have outstanding data to send and it would not properly notice this and stop sending. This caused weirdness and sad faces. http://curl.haxx.se/bug/view.cgi?id=2080222 Note that there are still reasons to consider libcurl's behavior when getting a >= 400 response code while sending data, as Craig Perras' note "http upload: how to stop on error" specifies: http://curl.haxx.se/mail/archive-2008-08/0138.html
2008-08-28 | Issue #144 seems to be complete. It should no longer be a show-stopper. | Yang Tse
2008-08-28 | we need to look over what libcurl does (not) do when error is received when it | Daniel Stenberg
wants to send data | |||
2008-08-26 | Another task completed and removed from #144: | Yang Tse
- Enabling and disabling of large file support is now complete.
2008-08-26 | Three tasks completed and removed: | Yang Tse
- Logic based on CURL_SIZEOF_CURL_OFF_T and SIZEOF_OFF_T already adjusted. - Test case 557 already passes on all autobuilds. - System off_t, or equivalent, size is finally not recorded in curlbuild.h for this release. SIZEOF_OFF_T from config file is used.
2008-08-22 | 161 - test case 1065 failure (HTTP PUT with one file but two URLs) | Daniel Stenberg
http://curl.haxx.se/mail/archive-2008-08/0075.html
2008-08-22 | Removed issue #154 due to the massive problems I've had to repeat it and since | Daniel Stenberg
this really hasn't bitten anyone else. The issuer of the report (Felix) suggested the closure himself and he will get back when (if?) he manage to get a more reliable way to see the problem. 154 - bug #2041827 "Segfault in http_output_auth w/ FORBID_REUSE (7.18.2)"
2008-08-21 | Old logic based on ENABLE_64BIT and HAVE_LONGLONG already revisited and ↵ | Yang Tse
adjusted. Old logic based on CURL_SIZEOF_CURL_OFF_T is only partially adjusted.
2008-08-18 | #159 and #160 already done. | Yang Tse
Add more tasks to #144. | |||
2008-08-16 | Added #159 and #160 | Yang Tse
