2005-03-16 | Removed old VMS config files (on behalf of Marty Kuhrt). The VMS build | Dan Fandrich
scripts use the version in packages/vms/
2005-03-12 | David Houlder added --form-string | Daniel Stenberg
2005-03-11 | curl_version_info() returns the feature bit CURL_VERSION_SSPI | Daniel Stenberg

2005-03-10 | Christopher R. Palmer made it possible to build libcurl with the | Daniel Stenberg
USE_WINDOWS_SSPI on Windows, and then libcurl will be built to use the native way to do NTLM. SSPI also allows libcurl to pass on the current user and its password in the request.
2005-03-07 | fseek() with SEEK_SET is broken on large file capable 32-bit systems, so | Dan Fandrich
revert to the SEEK_END method of repositioning the stream after a ftruncate() and only use SEEK_SET if ftruncate() isn't available.
2005-03-05 | Better cope with a failed or unavailable ftruncate(). | Dan Fandrich
Added HAVE_FTRUNCATE to all the static config-*.h files on the assumption that all those systems provide it.
2005-03-04 | Rene Rebe fixed a -# crash when more data than expected was retrieved. | Daniel Stenberg
2005-02-09 | FTP code turned into state machine. Not completely yet, but a good start. | Daniel Stenberg
The tag 'before_ftp_statemachine' was set just before this commit in case of future need.
2005-01-29 | Clear the urlglob struct when allocated, since we might otherwise use | Daniel Stenberg
uninitialized variables. Pointed out to us by the friendly Valgrind.
2005-01-27 | a slightly involved work-around to prevent the debug-tracing from logging | Daniel Stenberg
a free-without-alloc as the first call
2005-01-27 | Make the debug build get the debug dump file path from the environment | Daniel Stenberg
variable to allow the test suite to better control where it ends up.
2005-01-25 | Ian Ford asked about support for the FTP command ACCT, and I discovered it is | Daniel Stenberg
present in RFC959... so now (lib)curl supports it as well. --ftp-account and CURLOPT_FTP_ACCOUNT set the account string. (The server may ask for an account string after PASS have been sent away. The client responds with "ACCT [account string]".) Added test case 228 and 229 to verify the functionality. Updated the test FTP server to support ACCT somewhat.
2005-01-21 | FTP third transfer support overhaul. See CHANGES for details. | Daniel Stenberg
2005-01-20 | Philippe Hameau found out that -Q "+[command]" didn't work, although some code | Daniel Stenberg
was written for it. I fixed and added test case 227 to verify it. The curl.1 man page didn't mention the '+' so I added it.
2005-01-18 | Cody Jones' enhanced version of Samuel Díaz García's MSVC makefile patch. | Daniel Stenberg
2005-01-12 | Added dependencies. | Gisle Vanem
2005-01-11 | Removed CURLTOOLDEBUG. It caused libcurl_wc.dll | Gisle Vanem
to fail in mysterious ways.
2005-01-11 | Fix '!if' expression. | Gisle Vanem
2005-01-08 | New file. | Gisle Vanem
2005-01-08 | Added Makefile.Watcom to EXTRA_DIST. | Gisle Vanem
2005-01-06 | prevent a single byte read outside the string in test case 39 | Daniel Stenberg
2005-01-06 | fixed #1097019, multiple GET posts (-G) error | Daniel Stenberg
2005-01-04 | Minor comment fix. | Gisle Vanem
2005-01-02 | Alex Neblett's minor update | Daniel Stenberg
2004-12-26 | nah, don't use the system's getpass() function since it too often is limited | Daniel Stenberg
to 8(!) or similar lengths passwords
2004-12-25 | ./src/config.h.in is now removed from CVS. It is copied from the | Daniel Stenberg
lib/config.h.in file by buildconf
2004-12-25 | My reimplementation and cleanup of the getpass source code. We officially no | Daniel Stenberg
longer use Angus Mackay's getpass code due to the weirdo license his code was donated to us under.
2004-12-21 | Added test case 217 that verified CURLINFO_HTTP_CONNECTCODE, and I made the | Daniel Stenberg
-w option support 'http_connect' to make it easier to verify!
2004-12-20 | Fixed a compile warning introduced by making the protocol table const. This | Dan Fandrich
involves a binary-compatible change to the API struct curl_version_info_data

2004-12-13 | Support for "--engine list" option. | Gisle Vanem
Moved CURLOPT_SSLENGINE* options to after verbose mode is set. Added a goto. Eek!
2004-12-11 | Dan Fandrich: | Daniel Stenberg
Here's a stab at a consolidation of the SSL detection heuristics into configure. Source files aren't changed by this patch, except for setup.h and the various config*.h files. Within the configure script, OPENSSL_ENABLED is used to determine if SSL is being used or not, and outside configure, USE_SSLEAY means the same thing; this could be even further unified some day. Now, when SSL is not detected, configure skips the various checks that are dependent on SSL, speeding up the configure process and avoiding complications with cross compiles. I also updated all the architecture- specific config files I could see, but I couldn't test them.
2004-12-10 | David Byron's debug build fix | Daniel Stenberg
2004-12-06 | Replace MINGW32 with built-in __MINGW32__. | Gisle Vanem
2004-11-24 | mingw _has_ a ftruncate() but it doesn't work with 64bit file sizes so we | Daniel Stenberg
can just safely pretend we don't have one
2004-11-24 | Provide a 64-bit capable ftruncate(). MingW has one, but | Gisle Vanem
it takes only 32-bit offsets.
2004-11-24 | mingw has a ftruncate() function | Daniel Stenberg
2004-11-24 | HTTP "auth done right". See lib/README.httpauth | Daniel Stenberg
