From f72a26d340fb675e03d21d7a86dbb5803cd18831 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Daniel Stenberg Date: Mon, 8 Sep 2008 11:36:19 +0000 Subject: - Stefan Krause pointed out that libcurl would wrongly send away cookies to sites in cases where the cookie clearly has a very old expiry date. The condition was simply that libcurl's date parser would fail to convert the date and it would then count as a (timed-based) match. Starting now, a missed date due to an unsupported date format or date range will now cause the cookie to not match. --- lib/cookie.c | 18 +++++++++++------- 1 file changed, 11 insertions(+), 7 deletions(-) (limited to 'lib') diff --git a/lib/cookie.c b/lib/cookie.c index 59df3b64f..ed541a12f 100644 --- a/lib/cookie.c +++ b/lib/cookie.c @@ -338,7 +338,8 @@ Curl_cookie_add(struct SessionHandle *data, break; } co->expires = - atoi((*co->maxage=='\"')?&co->maxage[1]:&co->maxage[0]) + (long)now; + atoi((*co->maxage=='\"')?&co->maxage[1]:&co->maxage[0]) + + (long)now; } else if(strequal("expires", name)) { co->expirestr=strdup(whatptr); @@ -346,6 +347,9 @@ Curl_cookie_add(struct SessionHandle *data, badcookie = TRUE; break; } + /* Note that we store -1 in 'expires' here if the date couldn't + get parsed for whatever reason.
